Cubicle Zombies - 1/1

O.o - Florian - SN
Title: Cubicle Zombie
Author: Eca-Eca
Summary: Uh, zombies?
Notes: Molly and I started having a long conversation about Twilight and how lame it was, and how Meyer would totally try to ruin zombies next, which is, hello, almost impossible to ruin. But she ruined werewolves she can do this stuff in her sleep, obviously. And to counteract the horrible I wrote Molly zombies. Only I never really went back to finish it, but I like this one page that I got done anyway. Enjoy.

Lemmy and a Lemon
I just really want to stab everyone in the eye these days. Just. ARGH. @.@

Omg, so much crap to do before the end of the semester. Actually so much crap to do before I even reach the end of Novemeber. Whatthefuck school? Go die. Slowly.

My huge final for AP Euro and my final essay for Eng 101 are both due the same week @.@. I hate school sometimes. And of COURSE its the week after Thanksgiving, so I have to scramble to get my interviews done for my essay, because people will be busy and I have to finish the essay early so I can study for Euro. XP

Been reading a lot because I haven't had any ideas for writing in such a long time. T^T. But I spent several hours yesterday writing ~3000 words of kinky lesbian porn. I mean, what?

But - BUT I've had this weird idea sort of knocking around in my head recently and after several failed starts I think I finally finalized the idea enough so that I now have a solid idea/plot. (Haha, 'plot'? What is this 'plot' of which you speak? 8D) I'm really hoping I can get this to work, simply because it's making me all jittery and upset that I haven't been able to write, like, anything in months. MONTHS. I am having withdrawals. Creative withdrawals. *shakes fist at the universe*

Anyway. This idea is just cracky enough to be as out there as some of my stuff, and possibly even more. I dunno. And it's about disgruntled marching band kids! Who doesn't love that? I just need names and stuff. Buwahaha. I'm acutally getting more and more excited for this. Anyway. I will reveal nothing else to you! It is a secret! SHHHH! :D \o/

I'm hungry now. Bye.

P.S. MOMMY GOT STAR TREK AND I HAVEN'T GOTTEN WATCH IT YET. WHAT IS THIS MADNESS???? SCHOOL! F YOU!

Almost finished with Full Frontal Feminism: A Young Woman’s Guide to Why Feminism Matters by Jessica Valenti. So very good. Even if I keep getting crap about it from my stupid guy friends who think they’re being silly (-glares at them-).

This week was pretty ridiculously easy in comparison to last week. Yay. Going to hang with peoples today and probably go to the city with Daddy tomorrow and see a play. :) Saw Couples Retreat last night with Mowwy and Alex. It was funtiems.

Frustrated with my lack of writing/ability to write/ideas. Super annoying beyond any fathomable measurements.

Did find Umbrella Academy: Dallas at the bookstore, though. I just need to go back and buy it. @o@.

I’m hungry. I should make some food.

Mreh. So tired. I had so much to do last week, but now it seems like I have nothing at all. It's awesome.

Had to re-sign up for classes, because the college freaked out that I was taking 102 and another lit class, because 102 is the pre-req. So, whatever. I'm taking a poli sci class on international relations instead.

Finished reading When You Are Engulfed In Flames by David Sedaris. So hilarious, lol.

Just finished reading The Sexual Spectrum: Why We're All Different by Olive Skene Johnson, Ph.D. Really good. Super interesting. Some of it I knew, but a lot of it was new stuff and it was cool to read. I liked it a lot.

Next I plan on reading Dress Your Family in Corduroy and Denim by David Sedaris and Leviathan by Scott Westerfeld. Yay. ^.^ And I want to get some other books at the bookstore, including Full Frontal Feminism (can't remember the author) and the next Umbrella Academy (whenever it's coming to our bookstore -.-).

Peace out.

iTunes Hates Me

-.- - Carlisle - CS

iTUNES! WHY DO YOU THWART ME?!?!?!

So, like, I've had this song on my iTunes for at least a few weeks, and it's been fine. Then all of a sudden it won't play. Like, I highlight it and I click play every different way I can and it just sits there staring at me, like, "Yes, did you want me to do something?". Yes, I want you to play, damn it.

So, I go a re-download it. Several times. Because each version I get, it reaches this moment in the song and it just skips right to the end of it. Literally leaps over at least 40 seconds for no reason at all. Which frustrates me because I like the song quite a bit and the ending is one of the best parts. Plus it's just really jarring.

Either way. After downloading it three or four times, and having each version skip at the same exact place, I gave up and closed iTunes, to be fiddled with on another day. DAMN YOU, TECHNOLOGY! I WON'T LET YOU WIN NEXT TIME! >.<

Game was fun. But f-ing cold. I think I caught something, because I feel icky today. T.T Hopefully I won't die at Homecoming.

Having issues writing, which is frustrating. Put it on hold for a bit, because it just makes me angry when I can't get it to work.

Sleepy. Throat hurts. Nose is stuffy. -Goes to die in a corner. Or, you know, cook food. Either one-

Woo!

So, fall break was awesome. Went to the boat show in Annapolis and sailed and saw the fam, who are just as crazy as usual, holy shit. Lol.

Also got a fuck ton of writing done. \o/ Lack of internet to distract me gave me lots of time. I also doodled for the first time in, ever, but it was on lined paper cause that's what I had. And I could only draw the girls, because I fail at life and can't draw boys anymore. And I would post these doodles, but, see, I have a wicked plan. In which I don't post the doodles until Molly READS what I goddamn write. I might even only post the doodles WITHIN the story, so she is forced to read to see them. And they are good doodles, if I do say so myself. -evil cackle- Oh, yes, I am cruuuel. ^    .^

Anyway, as of now I have 8,455 words (17 pages) written of The Dork Monsters Go On Tour!. With the exclamation point and everything. And they haven't even gotten on tour yet. I am sensing this is going to be a long one, folks. -hands-
-

Tomorrow is some weird senior breakfast meeting thingy-mah-do. I don't know. I get to skip first and second period, I am happy.

AND. Holy crap, like, all the musicians/writers I like are releasing new music/books within the forseeable future! What is this madness? First, I need to make the bookstore order Umbrella Academy for me as well as Leviathan by Scott Westerfeld. o.o Because I want them and as far as I know they are, but our bookstore fails.

Both Greta Salpeter and Bob Morris of The Hush Sound are releasing solo albums, supposedly before next year. \o/ How excited am I? THIS EXCITED. -claps hands-

Also, Panic! and My Chem are supposed to be releasing albums early-ish next year. MORE EXCITEMENT.

In other, less exciting news, everything is fucking due in October. *   _  * That is all.

Writing Status and Music Stuff

Dessa and Liam GLOMP

So, I ended up enjoying my girllove story for Molly so much that I decided to extend it. I just liked the idea of the characters in a band so much, even though I've moved some things around for this longer story. Which will include them being ~discovered~ and signed, recording their first album, but mostly this epic summer tour that I've planned for them. I have barely any real knowledge of how actual bands work, I am gleening all this info from the bands I like and their stories/interviews. So, yeah.

The original girllove story (with porn!) has a title - Girlie Girl - 7,110 words. Done. I just need to edit it before I post. (I'm avoiding reading over the sex scene to preserve all dignity I have left after writing the damn thing).

The twisted band!AU of the girllove story, or - The Dork Monsters Go On Tour! - 1,234 words (LOL, I didn't realize that). Also, I'm having way too much fun coming up with band names for the other bands on tour with them (and their nonexistance silly songs).

Office!zombie, idea from a crazy cracked out conversation about Twilight (GRR), also for Molly - Cubicle Zombie - 539 words. I know where I'm going with this. Just need to write it.
-

In other news I just went and watched all of My Chemical Romance's music videos yesterday, since I hadn't and I've watched all of Panic!'s and I felt bad. And I think that the video for 'I'm Not Okay (I Promise)' is so ridiculously silly and if it were a real movie and not just a spoof trailer I would totally want to see it:

Lemmy and a Lemon

Get to write another essay this weekend. Yay. -.- I have to pick a hobby that's not generally ascepted by society and defend it.

Was going to go to the game yesterday but I was lazy and sore because its that lovely time of the month.

Applying this weekend (finally).

Writing as well. Started a newer, alternate version of the girl-story I promised Molly, and this one includes p0rn, so yay? And bonus, suggested boylove as well. About 4, 551 words of that so far. Just a warning ahead of time for that. o.o They're in a college band together, because I had the urge to write about it.

Here, have a snippet:

Other than that, not much else to report. AWA was fun. I got some clothes and a Holic DVD or the first couple episodes, YAY! *goes to watch them again*

Game Night, and Writing Status

Dessa Wink

So, went to the game last night. Got to everyone, yay! Even though Matt was a meanie-face. T-T

Mom also found it entirely hilarious that when she asked me how the game went I said, "Uh, good. I think. Everyone was happy, so I think we won." And then the paper was raving about how amazing the game was the next day. She is proud of my complete lack of acknowledgement for the actual game. But I could totally report on the band and their performance.

But, holy fuck, was out so late. I didn't get to sleep until like 2. @.@ Games always wipe me out.

In other news, Molly really needs to read my last story, like. Now. -glowers-

Writing Status, thus far this week: )
Music and Paint Zoom In
[Sorry. LJ had a spaz attack and posted this while I was still coding it. Took FOREVER to fix. @.@]

Part Two )
Lemmy and a Lemon
Title: The Search for BOB and World Domination
Author: Eca-Eca
Series: Supermarket?
Rating: PG-13? (or R?). There is liberal use of the f-word.
Warnings: Craziness. Ridiculous lack of plot. I sort of throw you to the wolves here. Oops. Liam's grumpiness and foul mouth. Boys kissing.
Notes: I just hope this makes sense. O.o
Summary: Bob is missing and Iris is an evil robot bent on taking over the world (allegedly). Liam hates everyone, and the new greeter is totally stalking him. Bret thinks they'd be cute together. Leland and Dessa are devious and the triplets are crazy.

Liam is an artist, okay. )

Uh, Nerdiness and Writing Again

  • Sep. 3rd, 2009 at 10:42 PM
Iris

So, I just found out. Molly, Umbrella Academy's sequel is finished. All the issues are going to be compiled (like the book I got of Apocalypse Suite) and released in October sometime. And then the thrid one Hotel Oblivion is being written and should be out in like 2010 sometime. See! It wasn't the end, lol. I knew I'd heard he was still writing. I'm not crazy! Well, sorta, but whatever.

Ugh. Have to edit all that I added to The Search for BOB and World Domination and then I'm done. I am adding no more. Possibly I will do a sequel to add all the nonsense that didn't make it in.

In loo of that I am now writing the currently unnamed teacher universe. Which includes the triplets as faily secretaries and possibly counselors. I forgot to add in Jaron and Spencer, so they might be counselors, now that I think about it. Or like, helpers for the band. I've only written about three? Four pages? of it, on paper in my notebook. Once I start typing it out I'm going to need to name it so I can save the document. Lol. This one has absolutely no plot, as opposed to the last one which had something coverting around as a real plot but was really just a bunch of crazy. We shall see how it goes. Right now I'm trying to work on funny/romance, you know. The important stuff. Thus Gabriel is ridiculous and in love and Liam is oblivious and grumpy. Oh them.

I want to put something on my notebook for school. But I'm not sure what. : /

P.S. Finished my essay for class.

Right as I was writing 'school' in my tags my song said the same word. o.O Haha. Weird.

I also found a ballad for brit lit. It is sad. I couldn't really find a happy one that wasn't vague [or inappropriate, haha] (I was considering 'When The Day Met The Night' by Panic! At The Disco, but its very symbolic/simplistic? So, yeah.) So I found a sad one that's really good. Its Bob Dylan! 'The Lonesome Death of Hattie Carroll', seriously, its sad. T^T

I Should Be Stopped

  • Sep. 1st, 2009 at 9:34 PM
O.o - Florian - SN
I printed out 'The Search For BOB and World Domination' the other day, so I could edit. And I ran out of PAPER. So I got notebook paper (which printed upside down and flipped around or something on the page, but acutally looked kind of cool, FYI).

I finished editting it, too. 37 pages, over 16,000 words. I think its one of the longest things I've ever written, and its the quickest turn around for me, like. Ever. I started it the 16th and finished writing the 27th and editting the 31st.

But Molly is a horrible, horrible enabler and didn't STOP ME when I wanted to do MORE. OMG. It's become a never-ending beast. A BEAST I TELL YOU.

So, I added some more stuff. That's probably even more incoherent than the rest of it. And now its 39 pages and 17,000-something words. OMG. HORRIBLE ENABLER! -points accusingly- And its ridiculous. Seriously. So, so ridiculous. I need to print out the new ending and make sure it makes sense. Then I am posting it because I need to stop this. Really. I can't let it grow anymore. Maybe. Possibly. I sort of want to write the showdown between Iris and the triplets (and/or Bret), but I'm worried if I do that it will just turn into like ten more pages of nonsense. @.@

In loo of the ending of the project (IT IS ENDING, ENDING I TELL YOU) I am also brainstorming ideas for another alternate universe story for them. (Yes, already. I am addicted). I want them as either high school or college professors. Becuase I think it would be hilarious and I have acutally imagined it more than one would think. Possibly because they fit into the roles of teachers so well. (Liam the disgruntled/absent-minded art teacher! Always covered in paint and grumpy because he has to get up early for work to deal with kids! Gabriel the cheery, genius band director who can play all the instruments! And all their students think they're secretly married! Bret the faily and adorable science teacher! WHO BLOWS THINGS UP IN THE LAB ALL THE TIME. And Liam has to go make sure he's alive. Lol. And Fabian the nervous home ec teacher who actually can't talk to his students and has to have soemone else do it for him so he can just grade things and cook everyone lunches. But Iris the psycho principal likes him so he doesn't get fired [and everyone is terrified of her, including the students]. Dessa and Leland the creepy drama/photography teachers who secretly stalk the school and work to corrupt a new generation of children and call it the Yearbook Club. I don't know how the triplets would fit in. Maybe the crazy janitors who constantly try to set traps for Iris the Principal? Shenanigans will ensue! OH NO, ANOTHER MONSTER! >.< -dies-).

How Girly Are You?

  • Aug. 30th, 2009 at 1:17 PM
Dessa Wink
You Are 12% Girly
Um... you're a guy, right? If not, you're the most boyish girl in the world.
And for you, that's probably the ultimate compliment.

AHAHAHA. Yes, I do find that a compliment. Lol.

Soooo...I'm thinking another alternate universe story with Liam and co. as either teachers (I've thought about this often, I'm not even kidding you) or wacky scientists (I grew up with scientists! They are all crazy, I promise you!).

I really need to write my essays for tomorrow. But I have no clue what to write for my chivalry essay, and I need to research for it, too. -.-

ETA: So, I found my articles for my chivalry essay, I just need to write it. Woo!

I also looked at applications for some of the colleges I'm looking at, so I'll probably be filling those out soon because I need to get a teacher/counserlor to fill out parts of the applications as well and I want early decision.
Watched 'Monty Python: Life of Brian' last night. Holy fuck, so hilarious. Awesome. Also, its the movie that included 'Always Look on the Bright Side of Life'. Lol. So amazing.

Wow. Just wow.

  • Aug. 27th, 2009 at 9:11 PM
Iris

So, I finally got to hang with Molly the other day. Woo! We got foods and went to the bookstore. And I bought The Umbrella Acadmey because Molly said it was awesome and a cursory flip through confirmed it looked like this was true. So I read it and it truely was awesome. Good buy. ^^

Finished my epic grocery store alternate universe story! Omg, fucking 37 pages! o.o Like, the longest one-shot I've ever written ever (including indivual chapters). Holy hell. And I have to go back and edit it next. @.@ So, I'm printing it out to take with me to edit in lit because I have nothing else to do in that class anyway. But I actually really really enjoyed writing this after I got through the, "I'm not gonna finish this. There's no way I'll ever finish it." I'm almost afriad to edit it because I might want to add more. Seriously. I think I could have possibly gone on forever. I don't think it even makes sense, but its there. So.

One of my THREE ESSAYS got moved to Monday. Yay. Next one isn't due until next Friday. Yay again.

Registered for AWA. Yay!

I keep remembering old stuff I need to type and/or edit. Like, at least two things. Including editing the sequel to It Started With Make-Up. Which I promised like, months ago. >.> Whatever. I'll do that. I will. Lol.

OH! Oh. I forgot. So, some guy, the creepy one who's always staring at me in lit? Have I mentioned him? Anyway, he's freaking out the people around me, too, what with all the freakishly intense blank staring. So, today in lit we were in the computer lab to work on our essays. And he's maybe three seats over, with one girl sitting between us. And he starts talking loudly about how he hates my gloves and how much it bothers him that I wear them. And how I must be a bitch because I do? I dunno. He claims it was some OCD thing or something, but he just has to know why I wear gloves, because he hates them so very much. And I just sat there trying not to laugh and say, "GOOD! ANOTHER REASON TO WEAR THEM!" -insert evil laugh here-

Then, ironically enough. This girl is just sort of listening and saying, "You're so mean," with no real conviction. And then the girl on my other side (a friend of mine) giggled at the title of one of the essays she had googled on chivalry. And when she said it out loud, "Chivalry's not dead, but your sex life is," the girl gasped and said, "Omg, I thought you said that to her!" So, she was shocked that my friend supposedly insulted my sexlife, but not when that guy who doesn't even know me was insulting my gloves and calling me a bitch for no reason? Wow, are you a ditz. I seriously doubt her intelligence, however, because she kept complaining her arm hurt while she pounded her fist on the table. Well, moron, stop banging your fist on the table, that might help. Just a little.

Okay, now I have to do some homework. Peace.

Went to see G.I.Joe on Friday (Dad wanted to see Inglorious Basterds, but it was sold out). Lame dialogue, but that's to be expected of a G.I.Joe movie. The plot was a little muddled, too, since they had approximately 3,247,578,948,372 sub-plots about each character. You think I'm kidding.

And how annoying it was that both sides had hot chicks that were always walking around in skintight outfits with their boobs hanging out while they are running around and exploding things and kicking ass? Because they know how to kick-ass in the most ridiculous clothing ever, yes? And the villian chick is shooting a machine gun into the air and screaming at people but she has time to compliment a woman on her shoes? -.- "Yeah, I'm a terroist who's about to blow up France - ooooh, pretty shoes. Where can I get a pair?"

And the super intelligent girl has to be a bitch. Of course. And  think that emotions are stupid and aren't scientifically proven (which is a lie, emotions are chemical reactions in the brain, have you never heard of Fight or Flight? O.-, and why do you think animals -and humans- form bonds? I find it all overwhelmingly scientific my self.). Other than that it was the assumption that all Asian kids are kung-fu masters. But technically the two Asian characters were my favorites, even if the one was sort of insane. Haha.

Another e-mail from University of Chicaho, this is like the fifth e-mail I've gotten from them. I'm not sure if they stalked me and found out I went to Chicago and thought I visited for the college or something. Or if I sent to get information from them. I really can't remember doing that, but its not like its impossible that I'd forget doing such a thing. Lol. I just don't know how they got my e-mail. O.o

Anyway, I'm not sure if I'll apply, since going there would be super expensive I'm sure. And I don't think I qualify -perfectly- because our high school has weird requirements in comparison to other places. And my math SAT is a little low. But whatever. I'm never going to be a math genius, and I don't plan on taking the SATs a second time. Once was enough and I beasted the other parts, so whatever.

But if I apply to UoC I'm going to have to look up scholarship crap because I have no family there that I could concievably bum off of, and it would be fucking expensive. Maybe if they really want me that bad they will offer scholarship information. Lol.

Either way, I'm apply to the college here in September, because that's when they put up the early enrollment application thing-y-mah-doo.

Got like sixteen pages of that Jiffy Market story. OoO.

Now I -really- need to finish those stupid Manchester questions, because I want to turn them in Monday.

In other news the boy was dying of fever-ish disease. Dunno if he's better now, but I'm assuming yes. I still have a cold. -sniffles-

I wrote my Brit Lit essay on math. It made me cry. T^T FUCKING MATH! And of course like the glorious happy ending where Vanstone gave me the EPOCH and I got an 'A', and I just sit there thinking, "AND THEN THE STUPID SCHOOL FIRED HIM! *RAGE*" They get rid of all the good teachers, luckily L-L and Rosch and Tillery and managed to escape such a terrible fate.

Also, I get to present my project in Humanities tomorrow. Yay.
